Alfa Retail Park, located in Brivibas gatve 372, Riga, has been the most popular shopping centre of the kind in the capital since 2001. In order to meet the high demand from buyers and potential leaseholders it is planned to begin the expansion of Alfa at the end of this year. We are happy to announce that MyFitness will ensure sports club services on the expanded premises.

MyFitness sports club in Alfa will be one of the biggest sports clubs in Latvia with nearly 2000 m² floor space. It will host a spacious and modern gym equipped with the world’s most renowned Technogym machines. Two rooms will be assigned for group activities: one for strength training and cardio workout and the other for calm and harmonious exercise. The sports club will also be fitted with a special examination room were instructors perform body tests to find out the person’s biological age, lean body mass, body fat etc. These indicators are not only of interest for the client but also essential for the instructor to put together an accurate and effective workout programme.

Several gyms of MyFitness sports club chain already operate at other shopping centres and have proven to be successful in terms of the number of clients and sustained attendance. It is important to have a sports club in a shopping mall as it provides for an opportunity to combine shopping with entertainment and workout at the gym. Moreover, many of Alfa’s employees are active and willing to use the sports club services before or after work.
