This autumn, the MyFitness sports club will expand its services with a brand-new Padel zone, adding three courts for this rapidly growing sport in Latvia. Alongside this, the club’s gym area will also be extended, bringing the total expansion to 1300 m² and offering members and visitors an even wider choice for active recreation and training.
The three Padel courts will be available both to regular MyFitness members and to people who are not yet frequent visitors of MyFitness sports clubs. Padel is a dynamic, easy-to-learn, and socially engaging sport that trains both body and mind. Scientific research confirms that regular padel play improves cardiovascular health, builds muscle strength, and enhances coordination, balance, and reaction time.
“We are truly delighted to offer our members new opportunities and services within the MyFitness club. Our mission is to build a community of strong, active, and healthy individuals who inspire society to move more – even beyond the walls of the fitness club. We believe that positive, healthy habits are contagious – they encourage and motivate others as well. Padel is an exciting sport that combines fun with fitness, movement with joy. That’s why we invite the residents of Riga and its surroundings to join us and make movement an essential part of everyday life,”
says Inna Alne, Head of MyFitness Latvia.
“At SĀGA, we are always looking for ways to offer our visitors new and unique experiences. Today, SĀGA has already become a popular destination for those who want to combine shopping with recreation, active living, and quality leisure time. The opening of padel courts will be a significant addition to our concept and will further strengthen our commitment to making SĀGA a hub for those who value an active, healthy lifestyle,”
emphasizes Airita Olehnoviča, CEO of SĀGA shopping center.
Since its opening, the SĀGA shopping center has stood for more than just shopping – it has become a destination for modern, active individuals who appreciate quality, comfort, and variety. The new MyFitness facilities are scheduled to open later this autumn.
