{"id":34792,"date":"2026-05-15T10:45:00","date_gmt":"2026-05-15T07:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.myfitness.lv\/?post_type=nd_news&#038;p=34792"},"modified":"2026-05-15T10:29:03","modified_gmt":"2026-05-15T07:29:03","slug":"mother-to-be-trainings","status":"publish","type":"nd_news","link":"https:\/\/www.myfitness.lv\/en\/news\/mother-to-be-trainings\/","title":{"rendered":"Mother to be trainings"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Pregnancy is one of the most beautiful periods in the life of every woman, but it should not serve as a reason to stop physical activities; just the opposite, being active during pregnancy is even advisable, especially when it has been done previously and there are no obstacles for continuing physical activities.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MyFitness offering&nbsp;<strong>\u2018Mother to be<\/strong>\u2018 group classes for pregnant women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Group trainings are held in\u00a0<strong>MyFitness Up\u012btis, Aleja, Mat\u012bss, Spice clubs:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MyFitness Up\u012btis:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuesdays at 11:00-12:00.<br>Classes are led by Dita Raibarte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MyFitness Aleja:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wednesdays at 14:00-15:00.<br>Fridays at 10:00-11:00.<br>Classes are led by Baiba Januze and Ilze Mat\u012bsa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MyFitness Spice:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuesdays at 14:15-15:15.<br>Thursdays at 14:15-15:15.<br>Classes are led by Anna Vasi\u013cjeva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MyFitness Mat\u012bss:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuesdays at 13:00-14:00.<br>Thursdays at 13:00-14:00.<br>Classes are led by J\u016blija Laumane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mother to be classes, like other group classes, are included in the membership price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For attending a class, You can also use a trial visit \u2013 5 EUR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Exercising will help new moms to maintain good fitness and regain it faster after the childbirth, will reduce or eliminate back pain (which is particularly observed in the second and third trimester), preserve and improve muscular tonus (which helps during childbirth), improve blood circulation (consequently, the baby will be better supplied with oxygen), reduce swelling of legs, improve quality of sleep, facilitate taking correct baby sleeping position, and improve mood and wellbeing. During the training, each mom works at intensity suitable for her, and the main attention is paid to improvement of general fitness, putting accent on strengthening of lower back and Kegel exercises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting exercising for new moms, who have not engaged in physical activities before, is advised only starting from the 12th week of pregnancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, before engaging in physical activities during pregnancy, consulting a doctor is obligatory and, if there are no problems or difficulties and the doctor has given acceptance, physical activities can be continued or started.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pregnancy is one of the most beautiful periods in the life of every woman, but it should not serve as a reason to stop physical activities;
